Fantastic POETRY + Fabulous OPEN MIC!
J.T. Trigonis (he/him) is a broken haiku, neon troubadour, and knight errant of the written word. With the obligatory MFA in poetry from Brooklyn College and the ever more obligatory Pushcart prize nomination, his work has appeared in nearly 50 journals that have made appearances on the bottom shelf of the Barnes & Noble newsstand (and online, too) over the past 28 years. He has headlined at over 30 venues, including the NYC Poetry Festival. Trigonis is the author of six self-published chapbooks, and his latest one, Through the Wreckage, will be released in February of 2026 by Finishing Line Press.
Trigonis also plays master of ceremonies at WAYE (We Appreciate Your Enthusiasm), a monthly reading series he and his partner host at their vintage shop/used bookstore in Jersey City Heights, and he’s the editorial director of By the WAYE, a magazine of poetry, arts, and dialog published by WAYE small Press.
