When the Pages Speak is a live, intimate performance by Tiriq Rashad, set inside a Black-owned bookstore and inspired by the stripped-down, “tiny desk-style” performance format.
Held during National Poetry Month at Source of Knowledge Book Store, the evening honors the power of language, literature, and lived experience through poetry, music, and reflective storytelling in a close, community-centered space.
This performance invites listeners into a quiet, reflective space where words, sound, and story meet — allowing the work to be felt as much as it is heard.
